I had the opportunity to go to this years International Society of Arboriculture's annual trade show in St. Louis. My wife and her brother began an ergonomic consulting company, COR Ergonomic Solutions, last year and we shared a booth with our partners North American Training Solutions & Arboriculture Canada. It was an amazing time! The passion and commitment I witnessed from both of these companies and their trainers is awe inspiring. The two pictures above are not as simple as they appear. As we stood outside after a wonderful group dinner with all instructors from both companies, Dwayne Neustaeter, president of Arbor Canada, pulls out half of a ten dollar bill from his wallet. "Remember this" he says to my brother in law Ed. Apparently at the 2007 ISA in Hawaii, Dwayne had taken Ed's last ten dollars and ripped it in half. He gave Ed half and kept the other.
Ed, laughing, pulls out his wallet and produces the
other half of the bill and tells the story.
They go to the hotel's front desk, tape the bill together,
and head to the bar to get a drink.
Now if that is not a great story, I do not know what is.
